The streams of of southwest Wisconsin are well know to have quality fishing. With Pine Creek, Sand Creek, Knapp Creek, Big Green River, Big Spring Creek, Castle Rock Creek, Crooked Creek, Little Grant River, Boyd town Creek, and many more class 1 trout streams just a few miles away, trout anglers will have plenty to choose from. The Lower Wisconsin State Riverway contains 44,000 acres of state owned property along the Wisconsin River. Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of historical and archaeological sites, wildlife, fisheries, and scenic beauty while exploring this area.

Great For the Whole Family!

The Apple Capital of Wisconsin, Gays Mills, is only about 5 miles from Rooster Ridge Lodge. The surrounding orchards are full of the finest apples and home made treats. The fall Apple Festival is held annually on the last full weekend of September and makes for a great weekend getaway.
